NAPA Auto Parts UK and Ireland Managing Director and MINI Challenge driver, Lewis Selby, is embarking on an inspiring 4-day, 410-mile bike ride from Milton Keynes to Knockhill. This powerful journey is not just a physical challenge. It serves as a fundraising initiative to support Race Against Dementia, a charity dedicated to accelerating dementia research.

Lewis’s challenge builds upon NAPA Racing UK’s wider efforts to support Race Against Dementia, including fundraising activities at the Knockhill race weekend and opportunities for fans to add their names to the BTCC and MINI race cars or transporters for donations. Profits from selected charity merchandise sold at the trackside NAPA Auto Parts shop also contribute to the effort.

The challenge will take him on a carefully planned route with important stop-offs at local NAPA Auto Parts locations, underlining the community and team support behind his effort. Starting with a visit to Alliance Racing as they prepare for Knockhill weekend, followed by stops at NAPA Auto Parts – Commercial Leicester and NAPA Auto Parts in Sutton, then on to Rotherham to visit the Alliance Automotive Logistics NDC. His journey will continue over the weekend to NAPA Auto Parts in Selby, Sunderland and Alnwick before a penultimate stop at the Race Against Dementia Research Centre, a significant milestone that highlights the cause at the heart of the challenge. The ride will conclude at the Knockhill Circuit, where his MINI Challenge teammates and wider NAPA Racing UK team will be ready to cheer him on to the finish line.

Expressing his motivation, Lewis Selby said, “I’m really looking forward to taking on this challenge and hitting the road. It’s going to be tough, but I’ve been training hard and preparing to give it my all. Visiting the NAPA Auto Parts stores along the way will make the journey even more rewarding, as I get to connect with our teams and supporters while raising awareness for such an important cause.”

Fans are invited to follow Lewis’s progress and join the cause as he makes his way to Knockhill. For more information on how to support Lewis’s Ride Against Dementia and other fundraising activities, please visit https://napaautoparts.eu/en/join-the-race/
