Earlier this month, our TechMate team were visited by NRF, a leading supplier of automotive aftermarket parts and industrial cooling solutions at our Alliance Automotive Logistics (AAL) Distribution Centre (DC) in Bristol. The primary goal of this visit was to gain insight into NRF as a company, explore its diverse product offerings, and experience the capabilities of its fully equipped technical van, which plays a crucial role in delivering services to our customers.
The meeting was led by Chris Dyer, NRF Account Manager, and Dave Talbot, NRF UK Technical Support and Trainer. They provided the TechMate team with an insightful overview of the UK NRF team, the company, and the various product groups they offer. A highlight of the presentation was the emphasis on the benefits of NRF products, including a two-year warranty and the innovative “easy fit” concept. Currently, 75% of NRF’s range adheres to this concept, and the company is dedicated to continually improving this figure.
A key focus of the meeting was NRF’s rigorous product testing methods. Did you know that all NRF products undergo extensive testing in real-world conditions on actively used vehicles, including trucks? NRF’s commitment to innovation is evident as it expands its product range to include solutions tailored for electric vehicles (EVs).
To conclude the meeting, our TechMate team got hands-on experience with the NRF Tech van, where they learned about various products on display and how the van is equipped to support our customers effectively. Dave showcased the versatility of the NRF technical van, highlighting its role in branch workouts, trade events, technical training sessions, and warranty inspections. During the tour, a practical demonstration of the diagnostic sight glass on the van illustrated the depth of knowledge NRF shares, reinforcing the value of practical training sessions.
In exploring the technical support available through the AAL DC network, the NRF team elaborated on their efficient warranty process, detailing how returned parts are inspected and warranty reports generated. This commitment to customer service and technical support underscores the strong partnership between AAL and NRF.
Looking ahead, the partnership between AAL and NRF is set for an exciting future. This visit not only enhanced our understanding of NRF’s offerings but also reinforced our commitment to fostering closer collaboration and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional service and solutions to our customers.
